Hi, other than Penang, is there any where else that issues a one year non b visa? This is for after my initial 90 days non b. Many thanks. Also, how do I search this group on an I pad. ๐Ÿ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses options for obtaining a one-year Non-B visa outside of Penang, where respondents mention that Penang issues the only Multi Entry Non-Immigrant O visa in the region. Alternatives for obtaining a Non-B visa include the possibility of applying for a multiple Non-B visa in Hong Kong if proper paperwork is provided, although this has become more complicated over time. Additionally, there's mention of obtaining a one-year Extension of Stay based on a Non-B visa directly at local immigration offices in Thailand, with a note that it can be an intricate and costly process.

with the proper paperwork you can do a multiple non b also in Hong Kong, but given your location you might have the wrong idea. In the past it was possible to get multiple non b nearly providing some "sponsorship" documents, this is not possible anymore.

in Penang you need a valid work permit with a remaining validity of at least 8 month.

Penang has the only Thai Consulate in the Region where you can get the one year Multi Entry Non Imm. O visa...

You can get a one year Extension of Stay based on Non B Visa at your local immigration office but it can get complicated and quite expensive.
