It's sad that they can't give a proper rejections and tell you the reasons.

And it's a joke that they ask for feedback on the rejection slip...

I wonder what kind of feedback they're getting and if it's constructive.

They don't seem to have improved with communication over the year.

I would say that it depends on which immigration office.

In *Bangkok* I've been told that if I'm coming back to my permanent residence which is registered I do not need to file a new tm30. Same when Traveling and staying in Hotels and coming back.

Have ever lost year they asked me that I had to have my landlord file a new TM 30 "because of 5 year old one was too old". Lol

But from what I heard that in Pattaya you need to reregister every time after you being at another place with another tm30...

Så Ivan vi interpretation Seems to be up to each immigration office and you need to ask them.

And who knows maybe a Bangkok has changed their interpretation?

Basically you just do whatever your immigration ask you to do...

It's funny how Thailand failed to realize that people want to pay money to stay in Thailand longer time. But they don't want to pay too much money. So why don't they make it a "subscription". As long as you pay you can stay one more month...

I think in principle that readily could charge a few hundred US dollar per year... The big problem is all the paperwork. So make it a 6 months extension in the country for cash, if you are in "good standing".

I don't know how it is today but the chinese visas at the embassies you used to pay when you pick up the passport with the stamp in, and you paid according to what visa they gave you.

Nowadays they say you need to use an agent, and I guess these may not be refundable and maybe even the visa fee?
