I have found out from my partner that the landlord of our apartment failed to submit the TM 30 when I last entered the country. I have been back in the UK 4 months. I have a multiple entry retirement visa. I am due back in Bangkok on this coming Thursday. Is this non compliance likely to throw up any flags on re entry? Nobody seems to know and previous answers have all been guesswork not fact. Thanks in advance.
Question: I need to file a TM30 for my new apartment in Pattaya, which I rented for a month, so that I can later do my 90-day report. My previous accommodation here did not file a TM30 for me.
Now, the agent for my new apartment says that since there is no TM30 for my previous Pattaya apartment, the apartment owner needs 1,600 baht to file it now for my current residence. Supposedly, this may be to prevent immigration from asking questions about the missing TM30 from before but I'm not sure.
Is this a scam or standard practice? Does immigration really check this and require a full TM30 history for the entire stay to file a tm30 in Pattaya? What do you think I should do in this situation?
Good morning guys, wondering if anyone could advice regarding on TM30 upon returning to Thailand.
My landlord has registered the TM30 for 366 days upon my arrival last year. I’ll be away for business trip for about 10 days. Does my landlord need to resubmit the TM30 upon returning to Thailand?
I live in Bangkok and travel every month for work. I always return back to my rented apartment and I am starting to feel like I am inconveniencing my landlord to do the tm30 so often. I've offered to do it myself at the beginning, but they said no (maybe they dont want to give me their login). As I am not staying in Thailand long enough to do a 90 day report or visa extension (so no need to go to immigration), are there any consequences to not do the tm30 everytime I come back from my travels? Thank you for any input
I stay in an unused condo that is owned by some Thai friends so they are technically not "landlords" and have not had to register guests through the TM30 portal before.
Is it complicated for them to register me?
Or should I book a stay in a hostel so they can do it for me? If so, how many nights do I need to book (I've seen different answers from 1-5 nights) and should the dates of the stay be the same as my current visa expiry date +/- a day(s) on either side?
I have a question. I am rent a apartment and I would like to extend my Exemption. The apartment owner has asked me to pay for 500 buht for TM30 ( NOTIFICATION OF RESIDENCE FOR FOREIGNERS.) is this normal to have to pay ?
