Currently in Thailand and have DTV questions:

1. Which nearby country would be best to apply for DTV from?

2. Want to apply for workation/digital nomad DTV option. What income per month would be needed as proof of remote work/income?

3. Would income from rental property be ok? Or needs to be business income, freelancer income from clients?

4. Better to apply personally or via agency? Any suggestions of agencies?

Me and my partner want to both apply. A Chinese and an Australian.

Hello, I plan to apply for the DTV in London. I currently have two sources of income. One is my remote freelance business which is the bulk of my income, however I also make around 1200GBP/month from two property rentals in the UK. Should I mention this? I don't know if it will strengthen or weaken my application.

Also, I've been told that there is no seasoning requirement for the funds in London, however I wanted to check if anyone has transfered the funds in to your bank acc and immediately applied? Mine arrived in my current account a couple of days ago and I already have a closing statement with 11k+. Wondering if I'd be pushing my luck by applying THAT quickly after receiving the funds. Only in the UK for a few weeks and really want to get it done ASAP.

Hi,

Has anyone been accepted for a DTV with income from rental property? If so, can you please let me know what information you provided to secure the visa?

We will only start receiving rental income a month or so before we apply. Will that make a difference?

Thanks!

Hi all, I’m from and currently in the uk, the company I work for no longer allow remote working so my DTV plans for 2026 have crashed.

However, I have 2 other sources of income from property in the UK, the properties are in my name, not a business name, therefore the rental income comes into my personal bank account.

Any ideas if this specific type of earning and income would qualify for a DTV?

Thanks

Hi. Has anyone gone through the process of using Rental Income to prove the 65,000 Baht monthly income requirement for a retirement visa ( correctly named a 1 Year Extension of a Non-Immigrant Cat O visa ). In the UK at present. In particular is there a requirement for the Rent to be coming in for 12 months prior without a break ?

Hi friends, nihao from China (though I’ll be in Vietnam shortly). I love Thailand and intend to get a DTV soon. I receive monthly disability pay from the US military along with a bit of US rental real estate income which comes to a few thousand dollars a month. I’m wondering if this can meet the “workation” / digital nomad dtv requirements as I don’t have the employment contract, certificate or portfolio that are mentioned as the required documents.

Do any of y’all have an idea or can you point me in the direction of a solid agent who can answer the question?

Dear members, Merry Xmas to all.

Has anyone applied in Hanoi, having rental income from UK?

I'd like to hear the outcome as I'm considering it, but one agent said it would be best to apply from UK in my case.🙏🙏
