How have people dealt with the 3MB limit? I struggled with getting everything in order, using different software, merging pdf and minifying images.

Was this a struggle for you guys?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Many people have found the 3MB limit for document submissions frustrating and have shared various strategies to manage it. Suggestions include using free online PDF compression tools, combining multiple images into fewer pages to reduce the overall document size, and creatively formatting documents using Google Docs or Slides to fit more content in readable formats.

Yes that was a pain. I went on Google docs or slides and shoved as many pictures as I could on a page and then saved it as a PDF. It looked like a collage scapbook lol. A few pages. They will accept it as long as you can read everything.

You might also be able to reduce the number of pages if you combine documents on one page like all passport pages. You could fit 4 pages on one page

I'm quite technical so I managed between Google docs for TOC and screenshots, PDF gear, PDF gear's own compressor and Apple's own pdf compressor... but I imagine for the non tech folk it's even harder
