They probably think everyone has to be a web graphic developer :-D
I don't know. Since it's such a substantial amount of money I don't understand why they cannot be a bit more nice?
I mean they could provide a checklist with what documents are okay and provide slots to upload the missing documents.
But there refusal statements are quite sweeping I think.
This is in contrast to doing one year extensions for retirement reasons in Thailand where they review it in person and almost always require more documents but it's clear what they need.
people laugh at concept that seems absurd to them and doesn't make sense.
I don't know what (tourists) visas you need to "activate" in any country. When you have a tourist visa you typically have it... There's no activation.
I do believe that some countries have worked for mates and work visa that you might have to leave and come back. I don't think that's the case in Thailand?
In USA the work permit Visa you actually need to go or used to have to go abroad to consulate abroad to actually get the visa in the passport. I don't know if it's still the same rules but it used to be those rules in 2000 to 2006...
I mean I also hear that they gladly take the money and canceled your application if it's like one mistake and you go back and forth from there app updating info and it keeps changing it automatically!?
It almost feels like a scam. I mean if we passport information doesn't match with what you entered they should just highlight it to you and say hey your data may be incorrect please update! Instead we just cancels people's applications. That is very rude. I don't think computers should be used to catch people making mistakes but rather help people to avoid making mistakes.
It also seems interesting but it's a five year Visa but if people get it for doing medical reasons and then they only have a schedule for 6 months are we going to start harassing people after 6 months? Maybe cancel the Visa if you can't prove that you still go to the doctor? Implications for future are not very clear. Lol
so they wouldn't accept the screenshot as being current?
In Thailand they want to be able to see every transaction and that's for the reason to see that it never dipped below the specified amount... But it seems like they just making up for interpretation of the rules as they go and it depends on each person handling the case?
Also requesting this when you are in a third country isn't very nice.
Some Bank apps and give you online automatically a few months statement maybe that would work?
