was denied Dtv (new york); i guess owning and renting out and managing real estate isn’t considered remote work as a “digital nomad.” even though everything is done from my phone and internet……… they replied that they can offer a multiple entry tourist visa. should i go for that, and can i re-apply after 6 months for another 6 months and keep repeating? or should i apply for soft power thru a MT fighting class? anyone have any opinions or suggestions? thanks

Hey all! I'm planning to visit Bangkok for 3-6 months. Should I go with the destination thailand visa or the multiple entry tourist visa?

I'm coming to train muay thai, work on some personal projects, and try to make my savings last as long as I can.

If I went with the typical ME tourist visa, how much would a typical border run cost? Also, can I get 60 days + 30 extension, then do a border run and come back and do the same 60+30 days? Or is it only 60 days?

Any information is greatly appreciated! I'm getting a headache looking online so I figured I'd just make a post here haha

Hello all,

I’ve checked the group before penning this message but to no avail; in a slight pickle. Thanks in advance for any help or insight.

I had applied (successfully) and obtained an e-visa, running to 20th March 2025. I showed this to immigration at Krabi on arrival and all was well/approved. However, my friend whom has just arrived (with the same longevity of successful visa), warned me to check the stamp listed in my passport, that was added by immigration, as he’d heard a couple of horror stories and it seems his stamp is only valid for 60 days.

Now checking, the stamp in my passport, reflects that it’s “valid until” the 2nd December, I.e only 60 days.

With this context, the question is, as presumably immigration will go by the stamp over any e-visa or QR code I share, how can I remedy this? Is it as simple as an immigration office or returning back to the airport for them to “override” or re-stamp my passport with the correct, deferred date?

Sorry if this had been posted before. Feeling a bit anxious. Any help is hugely hugely appreciated 🙏🙏

Hi can I grab some advice while it kind of runs in the same question! Currently packing up my life in the uk ( after messy divorce ) I’m starting of in Thailand from the 15th of next month! For 60days and the apply for the extension. Then I’ll be leaving to go to Bali for a week will I be able to re enter and do the same thing. Will be wanting to hopefully stay until June with going out to Cambodia etc.. then will be in Ibiza for 3 months from June. Then ideally would like to go back to Thailand.. is there a rule on how many times you can enter or has that been scrapped! Cheers in advance

Hi I am intending to visit Thailand again for @ 6 months starting in October. I am retired (so cant get the new nomad visa) will travel with my Thai wife of many years. Last year I went on a Tourist visa, extended it for 30 days, they got a family visa then popped over to Laos for a day.

To simplify matters this year plan to apply for a Multiple Entry Tourist visa - have been assured that this lets you enter the country for 3 x of 60 days in a 6 months period - so idea being arrive after 60 days go to Laos returning the same day which will also be day one of the second 60 days, at the end of which repeating this process - so total of 177 days in Thailand. My question is step 3 of the Multiple entry application asks for date of arrival (okay) BUT then asks date of departure is this the 60th day ie when I go in/out to get my next entry on my visa OR is it the 157th day?

Hello,

I’m an American wanting to get a 6 month multi entry tourist visa. Is there anything specific they are looking for on an online application?

After I check multi entry it simply states that if a single entry visa is given to me instead of the multi entry I still need to pay for the multi entry visa app which is a decent amount more.

Any help will be appreciated 🙏🏼
