I applied for the DTV visa on May 6th via the Los Angeles consulate with the e visa platform, as a digital nomad.
I received a request for additional documents on May 23rd and I submitted them the same day.
I have yet to receive a status update after the status changed to "pending document check" upon submission.
The website for this consulate says 15 business days for initial response, and if additional documents are requested, it will take another 5 business days.
My planned flight leaves June 20th(US).
It is currently the 16th and I have yet to hear anything.
I saw one post on reddit about delays with additional document processing through this consulate, but it took 11 business days after additional document submission for him.
It has been longer for me.
Has anyone had similar experiences, or any ideas on how to expedite this?
I have emailed the consulate but no response, can't contact via phone either.
I applied for a 90 day non O visa based on marriage about 20 or so days ago, then they asked me for more information about two days later witch I sent them on the Evisa. I haved booked and paid for my plane tickets for jest over two weeks time but haven't heard back from them. Anyone any idea? What I should do.
Let this be a warning to anyone who is curious: Do not apply for your DTV in Spain.
Just don't.
I'm a legal resident here who applied over a month ago and I still have not gotten a response. Now I have to leave Spain for a family emergency, and I'm basically begging the embassy to give me an update on the additional materials they requested. If you have the option, apply somewhere else, anywhere else. The stress alone makes me want to scream.
I've applied more than 10 working days ago and it seems like my application hasn't been processed yet. Would it be a good idea to just go at the Embassy physically and ask about it or could they get annoyed by this and reject my application? That way I could also answer any questions they might have on the spot but that may backfire so I'd rather ask first. Thank you
Hello everyone, I applied for a DTV visa in the remote worker category in Turkey Ankara on January 6, I uploaded all the necessary documents. I am a Turkish citizen, but since this date my application has been constantly showing as pending document check status. I contacted the consulate a few times. I told them that my flight date was March 2, I said I could change my flight date if there would be a delay. They kept giving me the same answer. I sent a message to the Thai consulate, but I did not receive any response. Has anyone experienced a similar situation?
LAST UPDATE. Finally i got my DTV visa☺. I just wanted to share the timeline in Hanoi (from my experience): Applied on dec 23, requested business registration on dec 24, requested previous thai visas on january 7 (morning), DTV visa approved january 7 (afternoon).
Hi guys. I am a bit worried. I came to Hanoi hoping to get my DTV Visa approved quick. However it's been 2 weeks since I applied (I applied dec 23) and I haven't received approval, and I feel kind of stuck here. What should I do? 😔.
