My husband and I currently hold DTV visas under digital nomad category because we are remote workers. we had our thai bank accounts opened at KrungThai with our previous student visas a year ago. Recently, his Krungthai “Next” mobile application crashed because of some bugs. So, he needs help with logging into his mobile application again at the bank. However, Krungthai banks keep denying to help logging in again because of new policy or something. Does anyone know any Krungthai bank branch that is foreigner-friendly or DTV-friendly?

More problems with 90 day reporting online...

Twice I've been rejected previously for 'first report to be done in person...' even though I've been here nearly 10 years and never left the country?

Today a new one..!​ Rejected.. 'can only be submitted 15 days before until due date' even though I was exactly 7 days before, bang in the middle of required range??​🤔​

Thai IT​ and bureaucracy will never cease to amaze me...

I know there's a lot of discussion surrounding bank accounts. My friend and I both got our DTVs at the same time but the difference is that I already had a BKK Bangkok so he decided to explore Tag Thai and the experience wasn't good.

I'll share what happened in case anybody else is thinking about trying TT.

Both landed at Swampy and straight to Kasikorn booth where you can see heavy advertising for TT. "No hab". After 2 more attempts found one land side but it seems the staff really have no interest in this card and each time try to put us off using it or seemed to be just tired of people asking about it.

The booth that did have it, the lady really did not want to have anything to do with it and pleaded with another colleague to set it for my friend. Overall I find this quite strange again giving the heavy promotion.

I was about to get one as a backup in case my bank acc got frozen and had my baht ready in hand but here's the major downfall of this card. You can only load it by converting foreign currency into Thai baht at a Kasikorn booth. You cannot load it directly with THB which is totally bizarre. So basically outside major cities without a Kasikorn exchange you're screwed.

He also had huge difficulty paying and scanning as well as the app constantly crashing. Finally he withdrew the baht and binned the card. Waste of time.

I have a DTV visa and so does my husband. We applied for my daughter as dependent for me but for some reason it's came back as my husband. Can I still travel alone with her in and out of Thailand? Is there any other problems I might face it not being on my visa? It was all my information that was supplied for visa. We do not share the same last name.

Has any DTV visa holder experienced a bank account freeze/close at Bangkok Bank?

If yes, please let me know the experience of you already went to bank to unfreeze the account.

Hello. I opened my account with Bangkok bank a while back on my tourist visa, today I went onto my banking online, it’s locked and I can’t withdraw from the atm. I go to the bank and they tell me it’s because of my visa (DTV)they can’t open my bank and tell me they will call me later today or tomorrow to see if they can unlock 🤯 has anyone been in this situation?

But I’m so worried and scared when I get back to Thailand I will get stop/ deny at immigration at the airport and they will send me back to my country …

I have letters from my school. I have contract documents with my landlord that I’m renting condo in Thailandfor a year!

Plus I have all documents from my class, my teacher, my homework, my classmates for show at immigration…

Hello everyone, I need some advice. I’ve just applied for the DTV in the UK embassy, but I accidentally selected “freelancer” instead of “employee.” Now, they’re asking for supporting documents: a self-assessment tax return, statement of accounts, or an accountant’s letter, which I don’t have.

Would it be ok to submit my payslips instead and explain that I made a mistake in the application?

I have account in K Bank. I tried to increase the transfer limit from 50k TB on the bank app.But would not let me. I called to KBank today to ask them to increase it. Was told 50,000tb is maximum transfer for all foreigners. Anyone else have this problem. I don't have same issue with Bangkok bank.
