Hi all,

I applied with AXA nearly two weeks ago. I sent an email last week to obtain a status update and they acknowledged receipt but are still working on it.

For those that applied with AXA, is this the normal process? If so, how long did it take to get a decision?

Are there any other reputable and approved insurance companies?

I am hoping to move soon and I’m seeking the 10 year Wealthy Pensioner LTR. I know there are other easier or better VISA options but I simply like the benefits this LTR affords.

TIA

Well I must say, for a Bronze 5yr Thai Elite Visa I wasn't expecting over $30,000 AUD...🤔

Back to the drawing board...🤔

Dear Expat Community,

I'm reaching out because I'm growing weary of the constant cycle of 30- and 90-day visas. I'm seeking advice on long-term residency options. I'm fortunate to have sufficient financial resources and a retirement account.

I'm hoping to connect with fellow expats who have successfully navigated the process of obtaining a one-year visa or residency permit. Any insights, tips, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Wishing you all a joyous holiday season filled with peace, love, and prosperity.

Hello all - can you tell me if there is any reason someone would consider getting the privileged visa instead of retirement visa at 50 and over?

My 1 year on non-O visa is coming up in January.. Every month I got in the 65,000฿ (so I can withdraw the 800,000 after a year). Monthly it was in on the same day or next, one time it was 4 days off. And a couple of times it was in pieces (the 65,000 was divided up - like 30,000, 10,000 and 25,000 all coming in at once) because otherwise Wise wouldn't get it in time. Hoping this might work out somehow, or am I screwed up on this technicality... maybe dependent on the agent?

Hi guys

I really need your guide and advice.

I love thailand and missing much. I will relocate to thailand forever, but I haven't been there more 10 years ago.

i have been in germany for around 8 years as refugee, and I couldn't get a german passport, and I can't live at iran. Life is hard here ,I want to move back to thailand, and if it's possible to stay for a long time and get thailand nationality .

What is your idea to guide and what possibilities I have .please guide me like study or visa work

Talk of LTR visas on another post made me go to [members only]/ --- what follows is the popup on that site.

I'm curious to know, please, what is meant by

"note that the period of the stay permit on the passport must continue seamlessly to preserve your rights to the 10 year visa"

and

"fail to maintain your LTR visa period"

Thanks :)
