When a foreigner travels around Thailand and is supposed to report their new address within 24hrs? I understand this kind of log in can be done on line….please can anyone forward me/send me a screenshot shot of this link…….well confused 🤔
Hi all. If it wasn’t for this group I wouldn’t be aware of some key bits of info when travelling to and staying in Thailand - many thanks to those who contribute.
The one thing that’s got me is the 90 reporting process. I’ve just been given the dtv visa and will travel in a few weeks but I’ve never received any info telling me about any rules and processes I need to follow. Just wondering what else I might have missed.
Is anyone able to share a link that describes anything I need to be doing while using my visa?
Also interested in anyone’s view on how I’ve missed the 90 day reporting. Should I have been following an official site / page?
Do I need to do the 90-day report if I plan to leave the country every 6 months anyway? Or is this only required for those who want to apply for a visa extension? Just curious!
Hello! I am seeking clarification on my Ed-Visa extension, which is due to expire on 10th July, although my language program ends on 10th May; is it permissible for me to remain in Thailand until 10th July?
My application was accepted last Thursday in Cambodia. Workation. I was worried about being asked for tax returns etc but that never happened. Flew in last Friday and was asked no questions. Stamped in for 6 months.
I have a few questions;
1. I'm considering doing a Bachelor's degree, potentially at a university in Thailand, possibly online with Open University. Would it be possible to do that on a DTV?
2. If I did do the degree here, I'd be working very little (online, with an employer based in another country) and getting support from my Thai partner. Would I still be expected to pay tax on the little that I earn?
3. Am I expected to register where I am staying? It seems a bit pointless, as one of the reasons to get a DTV is to live a semi-nomadic lifestyle, moving from place to place. Who do I report this information to?
