you have to understand that not all visas can be applied for at consulates. Exactly why I never mentioned it and was trying to keep the thread strictly to using E visa

UK consulates are same day pickup for Tourist visas. Only Non O have a waiting and approval time

UK consulates don't offer a postal service.

You will need to go personally.

Geoff Nolan it certainly needs keep an eyeing on and how your particularly Embassy are doing things.

The E visa application website put an across the board change in this week of the need to show an employer or income or pension this week for ALL visa classes. I would guess the Paris change is the start of putting a stop on the workaround of continually obtaining long term visas and not bringing the money in to Thailand.

Paris though are a law unto themselves. Just need to see what transpires.
