Dad is unable to secure Thai health insurance and needs to go the Non-O route. Can anyone tell me the process? I know there is a bank deposit and money has to stay, but I am not sure if he goes in a 90 day tourist, then changes over or?? Can my stepson open a bank acct for him ? Do I need an agent?
I have a question regarding the 12 month non-O retirement visa extension. My 2 month bank deposit period coincides with my passport stamp in the new year. Can I go into Div 1 in Bangkok before this date to get the extension? i.e. before the end of the 2 month period?
Hi, I’ve entered Thailand for 3 weeks on Non-O visa (3-month) and plan to extend it (or my stay, to be precise for some) to a year, which will require a 2-month deposit record of 800k baht at a local Thai bank. I’m just about to get an address certificate, with my lease contract, from the Immigration Office ; the address certificate is required by most Thai banks. My question is……..
before my Non-O expires 3 months from my entry, yet my bank deposit has not reached 2 months, how may I continue legally staying here and make my bank deposit reach 2 months, so that I may extend my stay to one year ?? 🤔
I know my Non-O (3-month) is good for only single entry, and as soon as I leave Thailand, I will need to re-apply.
Thank you so much for sharing your great knowledge ! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I have been on a Non OA retirement visa for many years using the 65k per month option rather than putting 800k into my account. I would like to change to a Non O retirement visa and have over 12 months of history to show 65k per month from foreign source to my Thai bank. Can I apply for Non O using 65k per month or do I have to deposit 800k?
I am applying for a Marraige Visa renewal, I use the 400k baht deposit route. On initial application last year I had 400k deposited 60 days prior to applying. Is it the same for renewals, I have read somewhere that renewal requires 90 days prior to applying.
Hi thanks for admitting me. I read somewhere that instead of the 800000 baht deposit in a bank. That it's possible to show something like 60000 baht a month deposited over a year
I'm planning for a retirement visa when I reach 50 in a few years time. And I'm planning to find a place that I can stay without headache when come to the 90 days reporting and tone for renewal.
1) need to have ฿800k in bank
2) TM30 address to be submitted for the application
3) application before arriving in Thailand or apply when reach Thailand.
4) place to stay and easy to report for 90 days and or apply for renewal is ( any recommendations beside this few place)
1) Pattaya
2) Hua Hin
3) Bangkok?
4) hatyai
5) nongkhal
6) udon thain
To my understanding that if my landlord can summit the TM30 it can be any type of place to stay right
I'm from Singapore been in and out of Thailand under 30 days tourist stamp and use hatyai to exit and reentry for other 30 days tourist stamp. I'm a bit tired moving in and out every 30 days
I have the 800K in the Thai bank and will enter on a 60 day tourist visa. Can I get a one year extension of stay or do I first have to convert to a Non O at immigration?
My wife and I are planning to move to Thailand next year when she is 50. My understanding is that I can piggyback off of her application since I am not 50 yet. Is this correct? And if so, does the same rule apply across the different types of retirement Visa.
Also, for the O-A or O-X Visa, is the 3 million baht bank deposit requirement per person, which means, my wife and I will need a combined of 6 million baht?
