Hi all! Last week I extended my 60 day tourist visa for another 30 days. When this expires, can I do a border run to Laos and re-enter on another 60 day tourist visa? Also, I’ve already done 2 land border runs to Laos this year. Will I have to fly out of the country now? TIA!

I just started to apply for this years Non O 90 day double entry and found as of march 19th all has changed at the sydney consulate,,,now its E Visa,,,not a 90 day Non O double entry in sight,,,any best suggestions welcome for a 6mth stay?,,,I have family in thailand,,,usually only stay the 6mths,,,,is there a multiple entry tousist visa available that will achieve my needs,perhaps with extensions,,,consulate website not working properly….i noticed a family stay visa vaguely indicating “more than 60day stay”and 400,000baht bank deposit.Sounds like the marriage visa,,,didnt want to go through that again.

Any ideas?

We applied for a 60 day visa on 23rd December at the Thai Embassy Rome ( flight departing from Cyprus).

We are due to fly to Bangkok on 15th January,but have not heard anything regarding our E visa.

If 60 day visa does not arrive in time,would I still be able to fly into Thailand on the 30 day visa exempt and extend when I arrive or would they look at my flight details and see that I am not due to leave until 29th Feb ( which is over 30 days) and therefore refuse entry . The other possibility would be to fly to Singapore for a few days before the 30 days are up and then re enter again on visa exempt. Is this an option or would I need a visa to re enter? Thanks

Got my E Visa approved today . Cheers for the help folks . Especially the guy that said He used His Drivers License for proof of where you are .

The rest of the stuff is easy ( if good with computers ) , i thought i'd hve problems with proof of where i was staying as only booked for a week . But no sailed through .

Just a money making exercise by the looks of it .

I know to make the E visa 60 day single entry, you should be in your home country?, how do they know which country you are making it from. Many thanks

For the 60 plus 30 single entry tourist E visa, where do i apply?, im British passport holder, but living in Italy, not resident of Italy. My UK bank statements etc all have my Italian address, only thing with my old UK address is my driving license. Do i apply in UK or Italy please??

Hi, I have US passport and I’m applying for E visa. I’m planning to stay with my boyfriend in his family home during my time in Thailand and I’m unsure on what to put down for accommodation name. Or is it easier if I book a hotel for a few nights and select hotel for my accommodation type? This will be my first time applying for E visa so any advice will be helpful. Thank you.

E Visa Processing Time? Hello, this my first time using the full E Visa system for a Tourist Visa. Out of Chicago in Pre Covid days processing time was about 4 days, now I have been in processing for about 8 business days. Is this now normal for Chicago? I know the website says up to 15 business days, just curious as to the current processing time. At least no COE this year!
