Will my visa be processed in time if I fly to Thailand next week?
I want to book a flight for next week to Thailand 3rd do you think it would leave enough time for my visa to be processed and be back to me in time by mail? I’m sending it tomorrow next day delivery and returned back next day delivery
I’m in the UK
Thank you.

Answer summary
The user is concerned about whether booking a flight to Thailand for the 3rd of next week will give enough time for their visa to be processed. Community members advise that UK consulates do not offer a postal service for visa applications and recommend going in person to expedite the process. They also mention the requirement for an online application before sending any documents. It is suggested to visit a consulate directly for potentially same-day visa pickup, particularly for tourist visas, while NON-O visas have longer approval times.

Alex James, all visas from the Thai Embassy, London require an ONLINE application before you send any documents. Consulates cannot do anything by post, you have to go in person. If you want a 3 month Non O Visa, then the required documents have to be sent by the consulate for approval to London, this is done electronically but can take 1-2 days for approval.
