TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around a deleted post concerning the process of obtaining a Thai visa in the UK. It highlights the frustration of users when posts are deleted after receiving unwelcomed advice. One comment indicates that the original poster was not eligible for a Thai visa in the UK and should have contacted the Thai Embassy in Paris instead. The comments underscore the importance of sharing information, regardless of its immediate usefulness to an individual.

I don't know why people do this. ANY information, no matter if it suits an individual or not, is useful to someone. This is a group, designed to share information, knowledge and experience in the labyrinth of Thai Visa laws and procedures. Let's help each other out

Thats a FACT...and I also add... the (Frenchman) ...who posted the now deleted post (which HE deleted) ...was not a UK resident nor citizen...therefore ineligible to obtain a Thai Visa in the UK.

He was advised to contact the Thai Embassy in Paris if he wished to apply for a Thai visa. Advice he did not wish to hear.

Thanks ALL who did reply to the now deleted post. Your efforts to assist the young man was appreciated by us...though not welcomed by the OP.
