Perth Thai consulate is permanently closed. All visas are now applied for using the Evisa system in Australia.

It's now up to a 13 week wait.

the UK don't post passports out.

If you do it yourself, you need to make 2 trips to Bangkok.

One to drop of the paperwork and then back there again once the new passport arrives.

they won't issue visas outside of 3 months before traveling. I guess it would be the same time value applying for the COE

yes your right. I haven't looked for a good few years.

There are tax advantages though for the super rich....that isn't me 😂

I would like to do the same rather than paying UK tax at 40% on related earnings.

It's impossible other than being granted non domicile, in the UK. All sounds good? It isn't as you first need to be granted 'domicile' in your chosen country, and give up your passport etc and Thailand don't do that on demand.

Try somewhere in West Africa. It won't be happening here.

unfortunately all International flights remain suspended to Penang. They have been since 5th April 2020
