Maybe wrong place, I apologise if so, but when you apply for a UK passport renewal from VFS Bangkok do they cut the corner as you apply, or after you receive the new one, I have visas for other country's that I need for work purposes in my current passport but I'm running very short on pages.
Anyone living in chiang mai who has recently renewed a u.k passport could you possibly give me advice on proof of residence? I understand it has to be in English but does it have to be a certificate of residence or could I use a tm30? The address is both in English and thai. Also all my monthly receipts are in English. Haven't go a COE yet as I think I have to do my first 90 day report first, even though I've been here 5 months already (non ed) so won't do that till the 17th of September.
Has anyone got a renewal of UK passport through the official overseas issuing website. Was it difficult to do or just tedious? How long was the turnaround? I'm presently looking at using an agent here for it. I didn't realise I had only 2 pages left till I was nearly refused boarding yesterday in Vietnam.
I need to renew my UK Passport as it expires August next year. (My retirement Visa expires May next year. Any advice on who to use, and has anyone used Mythaivisa.
My British passport expires early next year, so I decided to renew it while I was back in the UK for a few months. I applied on-line, paid £82.50 for the standard service, and sent my old passport to an address in Corby, on 23 May. I received an e-mail advising me at each stage of the process, and received my new passport, and my old passport back, this morning, 6 June. That is a fortnight, only 14 days, from when I applied! I am quite impressed.
