Hello everyone, just had a question and was wondering if anyone could advise please.
Wanting to apply from the embassy in London, re the bank statements. Is it six months worth of statements or just one recent statement dated within six months showing the required amount please?
Sorry if that’s a stupid question & thank you in advance for your help.
On the 29th of April I will with my family fly from
Phuket to Bali and apply for the DTV under the soft power Muay Thai.
I found a Muay Thai gym here after a recommendation from someone in this group 🙏🏽
They will provide me the correct paperwork for a 6 month course (1x a week, so enough time to keep training at our regularly gym).
I do have a few questions, that I not seem to find the answer to when I use the search feature. So hopefully someone will be kind enough to help answer them 🙏🏽:
1. What date should be put in the invitation letter, would this be the date that I want to start the course?
The gym asked me to give them the correct date for the letter.
2. I will apply online to the Jakarta embassy, would I say this to the gym for the letter as well or does the embassy in Jakarta have a specific name?
3. How do I get the passport stamp in Bali when entering?
I was there a few weeks ago, but we went through the electronic checkpoint, so no stamp was issued.
4. I don’t work at the moment, but I get enough benefits per month from my home country and extra every 3 months, would that be an issue (not working)?
I plan on getting back to work online once we get settled, I do have over 500.000 thb in funds, so that won’t be an issue.
5. When I get the DTV approved and apply for my kids as dependents, would the costs also be 10.000 thb each for them?
Hello, I was just granted approval for my dtv visa under soft power Muay Thai via Wildcat gym in Chiang Mai. I applied at the Hanoi embassy on Sunday March 30th and was granted approval 4 working days later. Meaw at Wildcat gym was extremely helpful in getting papers organized for submission and answering any questions I had along the way. I had attended Muay Thai classes at her gym prior to asking to get the visa and it’s a really solid gym with great trainers and fun atmosphere! If anyone is looking at going the Muay Thai route with their dtv visa then Wildcat is a great place to look into!
Visa application cancelled. Applied in Jakarta. Email says wrong type of travel document chosen. Not sure what that means, I chose "Ordinary Passport". What a waste of money haha 🥲
I’ve tried to search so apologies if this has been answered previously… I have full 6 months bank statements and payslips etc but the 500k I’ve only had in full for the last month ! Will this be ok to submit? Trying to weigh up if best to apply soon or wait 2/3 months ! Thank you 🙏🏼
I applied for a DTV visa in Japan. In Japan, all visa applications are done online. I received the visa by email one week after applying, but the type of visa was Non-Immigrant O and the validity period was one year. Has anyone else had the same experience? By the way, I am 69 years old.
