anybody entering Thailand on Non O or O-A or an extension of those visas now require $100,000 or 3.3 million baht health insurance which INCLUDES Covid cover. The $50,000 cover doesn't apply to those visas or extensions when entering Thailand.

You can go anywhere you want without your passport BUT be aware, if your stopped and they want to see it and you don't have it, you won't be be going anywhere until somebody fetches it. That's how it works.
