I recently renewed my retirement visa a month before it was due. I made the mistake of assuming that my previous visa stamp and multi entry was valid until the expiry date. No so, the new one replaces the existing stamp.
As I didn't have a new re entry stamp I was nearly denied entry as the previous multi entry stamp was invalidated with the new visa stamp.
Fortunately after some discussion with a senior officer they allowed me to enter.
Need a bit of help. I work 28/28 day rotation and need a bit of help with the new Non 0 EVISA.
Previously I was able to turn my non 0 into a multi entry easily now I have been told with the new EVISA you need to stay in thailand for 60day cooling period before you can change to multi entry.
Unfortunately I can not do that due to leaving for work after 28days in country.
Does anyone know a way to change the non 0 to multi entry after onky being 28days in thailand
Looking at other post to get a extension on non o retirement visa you apply from home country. Fly to Thailand then after about two and a half months go to immigration and look for 1 year extension cost 1900 ฿.
I have bank account.
I have funds 800k฿.
I have accomodation sorted.
Yellow book and non Thai id.
I am semi retired. Irish.
But next year I will only be in Thailand month of February 2026 and July and August (60 days) and maybe a month in November 2026.
If I lodge 800k in to my account now.
Is there any way I can apply for non o and work it into that time frame. Or do I have to be in Thailand longer. Also can the visa or extension be multi entry.
I am trying to avoid using the visa exempt if I can as I travel more often.
Quick question..I know once non O retirement has been granted next step is to open bank account in Thai Bank and deposit THB800k my question is do I have to remain in Thailand for 90 days before arranging a multi entry or can this be done within the 90 day period before extension is applied for? Thank you
I have a Non OA Visa Multi Entry retirement one year valid until 19th November 2025. Went to Laos for 2 days and come back in via the bus terminal Noung Khai. At immigration sent me to office to supervisor who would only stamp passport to 29th Dec 2025, I thought with multi entry I would get 12 months from date come back into thailand 11th Aug is that correct. Thankyou for any info.
1. I will be traveling to Thailand again in December. I would like to stay for 90 days. As a U.S. citizen I can get a 60 visa exempt. If I leave Thailand for a few days, will I get another 60 day stamp? I did this last year and received the new 60 days. However the immigration official called over another official and they took their time reviewing it before stamping it. The Chicago Thai consulate won’t commit to an answer.
2. if I would purchase a 60 day multiple entry visa for $200, I can come and go. If I leave at the end of 60 days will they stamp me for an additional 60 days when I return a few days later?
3. I am considering applying for a non-o retirement visa. If the process is not complete in 60 days (which would give me a 90 day extension, if I have leave after 60 days, how does the non-o get completed?
4. since I would like to stay for 90 days, my departing ticket would be after 90 days. I can purchase a ticket to another country dated during my 60 visa exempt period to show for a departing ticket. If I use it to leave for a few days, I still face the question of an additional 60 day stamp upon returning.
