Key visa in pattaya google them, very good several people here use them incl myself recently but allow up to 8 weeks as Uk service very slow. Post via a tracking service

I think it’s harder with the UK consulate to do this; do they even have a UK consulate? A friend of mine lost his US passport. A photo of the lost passport made it easier. Otherwise fill out the application, make the appointment online, pay the money and the US Consulate issues a temporary 1 year passport. If the flight out is imminent, just walk in on a day they they are open.

the UK don't post passports out.

If you do it yourself, you need to make 2 trips to Bangkok.

One to drop of the paperwork and then back there again once the new passport arrives.

thanks Ron, so who/ where do you contact to initiate the issuing of a new passport. If in Thailand what time scale are we talking about assuming all paperwork is in order.

It is done via VFS at the Trendy building, Soi 11, Bangkok.

It's now up to a 13 week wait.

If your visa is expired or expiring, you will be on overstay
