Google Ranong Immigration. people have had negative experiences with “agents” .who it appears you have to use or immagration will ignore you.

I’m in Phuket & i’m doing a border run to Malasia, even tho ranong is closer. the company/taxi service i’m using doesn’t want to go to ranong “problems in ranong”

Would be very intrested to know this too, some are saying you have to use agents or you wont get seen, others saying just negotiate a boat price.

I’ve read somewhere that Myanmar dont stamp you in & out Ranong Immagration just keeps your passport, dont know how that works

Be wary of any rental place that insists on keeping your passport without giving you the option to to put down a cash deposit.
