TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the possibility of extending their visa exempt entry in Thailand using their current hotel registration on the TM30 form, despite having less than 7 days remaining before leaving the hotel. A comment clarified that the TM30 registration does not expire but is replaced by a new one when another is filed.

TM30 does not expire. It's simply replaced by the next one that is filed.
unless you have one with a checkout/until date filled in, a field used by hotels etc. As it will expire on that date, long term stayers should leave it blank so it doesnt expire.
my understanding is different, and the lack of end date creates a permanent record, any short term hotel stays with end dates create a temporary record. Meaning the permanent record after returning from the hotel is now the active record again and the original pdf can be used without filing a new tm30. I've only filed one tm30 on the new system at my BK house, but stayed in 4 hotels that registered TM30's, and had no problems with my online 90 day reports in the last year.
you can only get proof of TM30 from the system for 7 days after it's filed. After that you can no longer pull up the entry that was submitted. It's still on file you just can't get to it to print it.
