Is it possible to travel to thailand with a single entry visum (60 d ) , extend 30 days , then do a visa run (30d) extend 30 days again and do one more visa run (30d) , so in total almost 6 months ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
It is possible to extend your stay in Thailand using a single entry visa (60 days), followed by a 30-day extension and two additional visa runs, potentially totaling nearly six months. However, the success of this approach heavily depends on the discretion of the Immigration Officer. Many expats suggest applying for a double entry visa or a multiple-entry tourist visa from your home country, as this could provide more flexibility with entry and extension options.

A visa run will get you another 60 days which can be extended to 90. Unlikely you'd be issued back to back visas

. Immigration may talk to you

Might, might not. The last entry could be tricky. You would have better odds getting a tourist visa again and do 60 + 30 two times.

when i go out of thailnd to let’s say Vientiane Laos , can i go to embassy or consulate of thailand there for a new visa ?

You can do a six months multiple entries tourist visa from home before you leave. Then you can come and go as you wish for six months and each time you enter you’ll be stamped in for two months.

I don't actually know. Brandon said these nearby embassies do only one per year, but I don't know if one that you received from a different embassy counts towards that maximum.

yes, i’ve been here since november & i’m doing my final land border run in April, i would just maje sure on your second border bounce you have onward travel

but is it legally possible ?

legally yes. But you can still be denied entry for spending too much time in Thailand without the proper visa. You should probably do the 2nd visa exempt using a land border run agency
