TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on how to reduce image sizes from Dropbox for a visa extension application, as all their pictures exceed 1MB. Multiple comments offer solutions, including using apps like Paint, online converters, or specific websites like picresize.com. Suggestions to scan documents or convert them to PDFs are also provided, along with methods to achieve smaller file sizes through emailing or using various apps. Some commenters note that regardless of the online submission, a visit to the immigration office is still necessary.

I made an entire video of the process, including how to reduce file size and delete picture metadata which causes errors on the form.

convert to pdf - very small size. Use a document scanner for example CS - Camscanner - very good

Messenger them to yourself .... They get reduced to Kyb size when they arrive in your messenger inbox

Convert to pdf just google it

There isa FREE app called Genius scan which is great for scanning documents.

I email docs to myself. Gives you option to resize. 80% is usually OK

I crop documents as much as possible.

Then send on WhatsApp then resend and save.

scan them or take to a copy shop and get them to do this

Use Puma compress to resize your docs.

If your desperate, I can dither them in photoshop for you. Usually drops them down to 10%.

This isn’t a resize, it literally eliminates unused color information and balances compression.

Not to be judgmental but it’s clear to me many comments have little understanding of graphics. 🙏

Take the pictures or scan with your phone. Then mail them to yourself. When you attach them the system will ask you what size you want the attachments. Anything around 500 mb is fine for on line submissions

You could always try screenshotting your docs as well

Convert the images to pdf

Although as has already been said, you will have to go to immigration anyway, an extension can't be done solely online

Can resize on most smart phones

Use a website like this

Google online converter free - 1mb is big though the issue is probably that the format (jpeg etc) needs converting

There's no benefit to using this system. You'll upload documents, pay an extra fee, and then still have to go to the immigration office and bring all the documents you uploaded.

You're better off making a free appointment on the immigration website and going and paying the 1900₿ standard extension fee.

To do that you just need an appointment

@Graham *****
there is none now untill next year

@Rob ******
that's normal given the current date and the upcoming holidays. An extension should be applied for much more than a week ahead of time in Bangkok

@Rob ******
no you pay 1900₿ plus a processing fee

Use the paint app on laptop/pc. Use the stretch/screw option to reduce size.
