Does anyone know how to handle a power of attorney when you reside and Thailand and your Power of attorney resides in another country.

I've just had a request for additional documents, but don't understand how their request differs from what I've already provided. Can anybody shed some light?

They've asked for "A recently letter/reference letter confirming employment/contract details from your Contractor or Client stating your position and work role as remotely worker in Thailand (address to Royal Thai Embassy in London) signed by an authorised person."

I've attached the letter that I submitted. The redacted parts are the company's address, my full name and passport number, my salary, the company contact details, and the director's signature. This letter was provided along with my contract, so I don't see what else they could want for this. Any ideas?

TM30 question.

have a 2 year lease contract with condo owner, first TM30 filed by owner for the full length of lease contract which expire on 2025.

recently went outside of Thailand and returned on June 5, asked owner to file TM30 again, Owner advised that TM30 only needed to be filed again if we move out of this property and do not need to file again if we continue to stay at this property. is this correct?

Hi everyone, we are about to buy a condo in Thailand! we are expats, we don’t live in Thailand so we would be coming on a tourist visa, we we’re wondering if we can open a Thai bank account? We would like to pay our foreign funds into this account instead of handing all this money to agent initially, we a bit scared of that, Question : is it possible to open a thai bank account while on a tourist visa ? For example, imagine we are living in Thailand, we have temporarily stayed in a Condo with our dog, after a short while looking we have found a great home to rent long term, how do I find out all the legalities I have to perform to ensure everything is in order and remains in order….

Imagine I want to purchase a car, how do I find out what I need to do to ensure everything is correct and in order and complies with Thai law…

Same with signing up for broadband, local mobile phone etc….

The list, I am sure is endless, I cannot keep asking on here (or can I 😏)

In my home country, I know the rules and regulations and requirements, I won’t have a clue in Thailand so could easily fall for an elaborate scam due to my ignorance and lack of understanding

Ok, so instead of asking how do YOU know, I guess I need to know How Would I Know/ Find Out?
