Wodrow Wilson They don’t like you to max out the 60 days given on the visa exemption. Not gaming the system at all, they just don’t like it. It’s not a sustainable way to visit frequently.

Pat Trick Yes they do. Because if the traveller is refused entry they can be asked to cover the cost of a return ticket.

I have been asked many times by airlines to show my onward travel.

You never know! Chances are they won’t even check it but the airline is far more likely to.

As you are looking at a marriage visa, why not apply for the non O visa from the Thai embassy in the USA? Then you have no issues as an onward ticket isn’t needed.

Technically, you are supposed to have onward travel out of Thailand within the granted period of stay, on entry. In practice they rarely check but airlines often do.

Matt Sheumack No such legislation. You could enter five times a year for two weeks each time without a problem (unless you do them back to back).
