Can anybody assist with further information?

I am an Australian passport holder and I’ve just been approved for a multi entry ;Tourist Visa.

I am under the impression this will allow me to stay for 60 days only, however it says it is valid for six months.

Does this mean I will get an additional 60 days if I leave the country and return?

Or does it mean I can stay in the country for the duration of the valid dates in the Visa?

Not really sure about this, and no information available either on the website or on the Visa approval itself .

Thank you in advance for any practical insights you may be able to share 🙏

Under DTV, can I stay the full 5 years leaving and coming back to Thailand right after every 6 months?

I read I can extend for more 180 days inside the country one time... Is this rule only apply once for the entire 5 years? Or after 360 days I can leave the country come back get 6 more months and extend inside the country for more 6 montha again an so on?

What are the rules on that?

Little information immigration and visa exemption.

A friend of mine was taken to the infamous room at BKK airport because he was entered on visa exemption quite often this year. Immigration gave him the warning and told him it is ok for then if he stays no longer than 5 MONTHS and 2 WEEKS in each calendar year on visa exemption.

Edit: he entered on the 27th october 2025 and they demanded he has to buy a return ticket to Italy on 7th april 2026. He actually wanted to leave 10th of april 2026 but thy insisted it has to be the 7th. And they also insisted it needs to be a return ticket to Italy and not an onward ticket.

So the 90 day check in, what all do you have to bring/do to extend it to 180 days? Or is it 180 days per entry? Do I have to have 15k each time I go or do they revoke my visa?

Hi all.

If I get my DTV, do you have to put the date of first entry in? Or can you just come whenever?

Also, if I stay for example two weeks, is it fine if I then leave for six months and then come back?

Thanks

Hi, I got the DTV with a flight ticket that now I will need to extend. Should I inform the Thai authorities that I will stay 4 months instead of 1 as planned when I applied for the visa?

Or am I fine until the 90 day report thing?

Hello, what’s the longest I can stay/visit Thailand in the course of a calendar year? I’ve been twice in 2025 for nearly 6 weeks so far but returning in October for 5 weeks in a row.

Will this be an issue for me?

TIA for any guidance.

Ho all. On a 90 day, Non-O, single entry obtained in the UK.

If i get a re-entry permit and leave and re-enter before the 90 days is up, will I get an additional 90 days or only up until when the original 90 days was due to end? In/out via plane. Thanks in advance for any info.
