First visit: from December 23, 2025 to January 9, 2026
Second visit: from February 7, 2026 to March 19, 2026
I would now like to enter Thailand again from May 1st 2026 and stay until mid-June 2026.
👉 Would this be allowed under the visa exemption rules, or could there be any issues with immigration due to the previous 2 entries within a short period of time?
Thank you very much for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Spanish national inquires if entering Thailand on May 1, 2026, after two recent visits in 2025 and 2026 would be permitted under the visa exemption rules. Community responses suggest that while it may generally be acceptable based on the rules, the final decision lies with the immigration officer. Several commenters recommend applying for a tourist visa beforehand to mitigate potential issues, especially considering stricter immigration checks on multiple short entries.
Two short trips close together. It may look suspicious to the Agent. To make sure, can you go to the Thai Embassy and pay for a 60 day Visa ahead of time? Only problem May 1 is coming up soon. Make sure you have a round trip ticket too.
They can ask, what are you doing in Thailand? do you have a thai girl friend? where do you stay? When do you go back? What is your job? if you have clear answers, you will be fine. 😅
Where have you been between your visits to Thailand? If you've been back to your home country you will likely be fine but the immigration officer is the only one who will decide
there are no rules limiting the number of visa exempt entries, per year or otherwise. Each entry is judged on it's merits by the immigration officer you stand in front of. That's why it's important to get an idea of both your history and whether or not you have returned to your home country between visits
โร หัวใจขี้เล่น answer the question please, where did you go in between your visits to Thailand? There is no hard and fast rules about how many entries, they will look at how long you stayed and where did you go after you stayed and returned.
What I've seen reported is that "individuals get two visa-free entries per calendar year". So technically you're ok, as your first entry was last calendar year... But its up to the discretion of the border officer. As another poster said... Getting a tourist visa may work in your favour.
Matt Sheumack amount of days not entries, plenty of weekend visitors who come multiple times from nearby countries. Phuket immigration chief said in statement 150 days per year but by all reports people are getting questioned at airport wirh less
Michael Dawson "Twice per calendar year" is literally written into the legislation. Google it. The enforcement or comments of various officials is advice in addition, and sometimes contrary, to that. This ia why there is no much uncertainty right now.
I would recommend you apply for a tourist visa from your home country Thailand embassy before you travel and that should help a lot..
With the current crackdown on multiple visa exemption entries there are no garrentees and its always at the discretion of the Immigration officer you are dealing with on the day..
Having a tourist visa before you enter still isn't a garrenteed entry but it should significantly improve your chances of getting into Thailand
