I'm about to apply for DTV. I'm in South Africa but didn't get an entry stamp into my passport as I used an e-gate to scan my passport. Is that a problem?
For anyone who has come from yellow fever listed country recently. I will be doing a third entry in Thailand in about 3 months this in total, would you recommend getting a safe entry service?
I’ve seen posts of people being rejected all the time here with visa exemptions.
Here is my recent travel history:
• First entry into Thailand: June 5th to July 16th (total: 42 days)
• Trip to Indonesia: July 16th to July 23rd
• Second entry into Thailand: July 23rd to August 13th (total: 21 days)
• Now traveling to the Philippines: August 13th to August 30th
I plan to return to Thailand on August 30th and stay for another 60+30 days, but I’m concerned because it would be my third entry in under three months, even though the total time spent in Thailand is around 63 days.
I read that there are more than few cases of being questioned upon entry and having to show some documents (workation) that should match the one you used to apply.
LTR Visa question. On my last trip to Thailand I received my 10 year LTR WP visa. It expires in 2028 with my passport expiration.
On my next trip to Thailand will they still stamp my passport on arrival? If so, what should I expect the stamp to say about how long I am allowed to stay? Do I need to point out my LTR visa stamp at immigration? Is it helpful to use fastrack immigration on arrival?
Has anyone been denied entry after their initial 180 day stay with an approved DTV visa because they had to show continued soft power activity (muay thai, cooking, etc)?
My boyfriend has just received his U.S. passport and will be flying to Bangkok, Thailand in September 2025,but he was convicted of felony which he served time for and is now off parole. My question is will he be allowed entry in to Thailand and are there any further documents he would need to make his entry here in Thailand go smoothly?
Once he has arrived Thailand we are hoping to get married and make his stay here long term.
I am a Thai citizen my boyfriend is ( US citizen)
