As general criteria (based on the police order), there is no seasoning period of 400K baht funds for a 1-year extension based on the parent of a Thai child.

But if I remember right, there are a few offices that require you to have your funds for two months the same as for an extension based on a spouse to a Thai.

I think Phuket doesn't, but you need to check with their policy in advance.

You need to ask the Hua Hin office for their policy on TM30. Some offices require you to submit again, some don't for domestic travel.

If you want to take the safe side, submit again when you return.

This happened a lot just after the TM30 system update late last year. You have to edit your profile first.

Check the last entry of FAQs of the User's Guide from the link at the bottom of the TM30 login Window.

The easiest is going to international departure gate 2, there is a re-entry permit counter as the photo shows, before passport control, on the same floor (this photo was taken on 31 January 2024)

You had better check with your immigration office to be sure for details for each of them.

Q do you need another letter from the bank to confirm money in the account ?

-> No, you don't need bank letter.

Q Do you need to show anything letter or bank book ?

-> usually, no. But you need to check your immigration office to be sure.

Q Also when can you withdraw money under 400k ?

-> Basically, yes. You should check your immigration office to be sure when you can withdraw money.

Q Do I need to leave the country every 90 days ?

-> No. Instead you need to do 90 days report. Cehck the first due date of 90 days report when you go back to the office to get the year stamp.

Usually, no under-consideration period for a 1-year extension based on being over 50 (retirement).
