because applicants are to STAY in the country where they submit their DTV Visa Application UNTIL the decision is known.

Hoping that soon you will receive the Thai DTV Visa ... Good Luck 🍀

Be patient and STAY in Cambodia UNTIL you have the decision from the Thai Embassy.

Awesome report... Thanks

BUT I would caution others who wish to get the DTV visa with Muay Thai training to consider a 6 months or more course.

As we are seeing DENIED visa applications for only one month of Muay Thai training.

Ask your Muay Thai training school for their recent history of assisting those seeking the DTV visa, where to apply, and follow their advice.

And we have seen a Thai Embassy decline the DTV visa but issue a SETV single entry or METV multiple entry tourist visa.

Thank You for your helpful report 👍

Congratulations 👏👏👏

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

and you speak like a long time expat. I understand where you are coming from as we both have seen many changes over the years in Thailand.

I have been in Thailand 21 years and am pleased to see the availability of the DTV visa. Especially for the digital nomad. It's a great visa.

With over 80 Thai Immigration Offices in Thailand you're likely to see MANY different requirements and interpretations for the same Thai Visa and extensions.

This is Thailand... it's BEST to go with the flow, trying not to think too much.. and enjoy the DTV visa.
