Hi everyone,

I completed my DTV application on March 20 in Hanoi, Vietnam.

On March 24, I received a request for additional documents (they asked me to highlight the salary transactions in my bank statement), and I submitted it the same day.

Today, my application status has changed to this — does this mean it has been approved?

I haven’t received any email yet.

Does it usually take some time for the approval email to arrive after the status changes?

Thanks in advance!

are there any adult content creators (onlyfans) here who were granted the DTV? i wonder if the soft power route is the only likely way to get accepted. or if it's fine to obscure some of these details

For the LA Consulate for DTV under soft power, if one gets requested for a photo again because the first photo wasn't good enough but appears to have accepted the bank statement and soft power welcome letter - how long after submitting the second photo do they usually approve? and also how many times can/do they reject photo before totally rejecting application? they rejected photo and asked for another one in 1 day, but ever since uploading the 2nd photo, waiting nearly 5 days now under "processing/pending". . appreciate your feedback thanks

First of all, thank you to everyone who contributes to this forum. It gave me many useful hints and helped me make my DTV application successful.

My advice: Do your absolute best and put in as much effort, care, and diligence as possible to maximize your chances. Overall, it easily took around 40 hours of work to get everything together.

Basis:

Soft Power / Muay Thai

Location:

Ho Chi Minh City

Submitted:

Second week of March

Approved:

7 working days later

There were no questions, and no additional documents were requested.

Hia,

Has anyone been issued a DTV under soft power from UK? I'm British and will be in the UK for a month and thought to apply from there.

But school / agent is suggesting Vietnam or Laos. (As a lot of their students apply through there successfully). Obvious reasons being the proximity to Thailand but possibly less strict..

I will meet the requirements and UK would be easier for me.

TIA

Does anyone have contact of an agent/service to apply for dtv under soft power? If you’ve used it, and could give referral, that would be great too. Thank you.

Can anyone recommend a cooking school in Chiang Mai that provides official documentation for the DTV (Soft Power – Cooking) visa application?
