Hi, anyone know...?

...if you already have a paper visa valid for 3 months to enter, but you just want to come first for a short trip, can you use VOA for that and leave the paper one intact for later?

Or if it is in the passport, must it be used for the next entry?

Thanks.

Arrived yesterday, received the 30 day stamp. Question : Is the TM6 still being issued by the immigration officer at point of entry at airport ? I did not get one and there is a entry in the online TM30 to enter the TM6 number.

Hello! First, I want to say thank this group for this resource being available! I've learned so much by simply reading existing posts. I do honestly wish I had discovered it a bit sooner. 😉

I have a non O-A visa related question but more about logistics, timing and situational 'what if' as time is running out, meaning my 'flight' leaves in 10 days and I'm growing more and more nervous if the e-visa will be completed on time. The referenced '15 business day minimum' has past and again, I still have 10 days left before wheels up.

So...to the question...what if my evisa does not arrive before my scheduled flight? How do I manage this, what would be the logical procedure? Do I take the scheduled flight to BKK (getting a visa exception on entry) and assuming the O-A visa will be issued (there's no reason why not) can I then simply go to an immigration office and get 'the stamp' processed like I would upon entry...or is it literally ONLY on entry and I would have to do something like leave the country and re-enter?

Thanks for any insight.

Hey folks I came before the new systems. My aunt wants to come to visit where does she go to apply for visa and entry? She wants to do it herself but keeps asking me if I know of XYX agencies she has found that "looks legit".

A question about a 90 day Tourist Visa.

We were just issued a visa at an Embassy. We fly into Thailand on the 6th. We were aware you get 60 days and then need to go to Immigration to extend it. Our end flights were booked for 2nd November, the 88th day. The Embassy was aware we arrive on the 6th.

We have just picked the passports up and it states that it's Valid from 2nd August to 1st Nov. If we cone in on the 6th August and stay the 60 days, then get a 30 day extension, do we need to leave on the 1st of November, when the visa expires? Or does the 60 days start from the 6th August and when we get the 30 day extension, will it be valid until the 4th November?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but just a bit confused. Thanks for any insight.

So Thailand just removed the pre flight Pcr test starting April 1. Good news. However testing day 1 is still here and will be for awhile. I’m presently in quarantine and didn’t have to be. My suggestion is you spend a bit of money a couple weeks before your trip for a Pcr test. If neg great. But if + (heaps of asymptomatic + cases) you have time to get a Certificate of Recovery/ medical cert so if you test again positive in Thailand you won’t have quarantine. Just my thoughts.

Hello Group:

2 Part Question

I'm using an METV (my first issued) with an exp. Nov 24th, 2019.

So realistically if exiting TH on Nov. 20th and returning on the 23rd of Nov. - I will be stamped in for another 60 day period correct? (thus the visa is expired)

Also with that 60 day stamp taking me to about Jan 23rd of 2020 - will immigration approve a 30 day extension at that point? (have never used an extension as of yet).
