If not, I cannot see how they will issue any visa in the UK via Evisa application.

for a long time. They simply won't clear them. That's the reason no agent will take you if you're on overstay

What a load of bollox. There isn't a single member of staff there, from the lowest nursing staff, to the top consultants that cannot speak English.

You are certainly not given anything in Thai to sign or read that you cannot understand.

Even your prescription and bill are written in English for non Thai customers.

The others that use that lane are those they have been refused entry.

You'll be taken there by immigration.

If you had looked to the right you'll have seen immigration and the holding cells.

you can only apply in Vientiane for a tourist visa and you require an appointment. You cannot just show up.

SA passport holders cannot apply in Savannakhet.

what you want to do and what Jomtien immigration wants you to do, are 2 different things.

As it gets busier, you can expect them in a week or 2, to start telling people to go on the last day of their stay as per normal.

you also need to realise, that if you manage to get a new visa, you're application for your Non B working visa, will be voided and you'll need to start again
