Hi all , I’m here in Jomtien on a tourist visa and have already used my 60 days + 30 days extension that it allows me. I would love to stay for 6 months more here to work on my health and fitness. Is there way or a paid service via an agency here in Pattaya that I could get a 6months visa (Muay Thai, cooking?) .
Technically I could just leave do a border run as they say from Vietnam/combodia re-enter and get another 60+30, however I have read recently that people doing this have been questioned on entry??. I love Thailand and have long term goals of being here , hence I don’t want to take a mis-step. So I was looking if maybe a visa agency in Pattaya could help me with a paid service for a 6 months visa. Thanks
I have got DTV visa since December 2024 and stay at Chiangmai over 5 months already. I have to extend/ renew another 180 days to stay at Thailand and I consider to go Tachileik which I have to cross border line to Myanmar and re-enter. So is there any one has experience for it and Thailand immigration at Tachileik border has capacity to extend visa for another 180 days by stamp in there? Would you please kindly advise?
Ok.. so I’m here on 60 day visa exempt and want to get a Non O retirement visa(90 days and extend for one year)
If understand correctly I can apply online using evisa while here and once I have the confirmation email, print it out and do a boarder run and this then gets stamped for 90 days?
Good morning. I'm in between work permits and need to do a border run while we sort out the paperwork for a non-b. Is one night in Pedang Basar, Malaysia, enough, or should I book two nights?
Hi all! I am currently stuck in Bali awaiting my daughter’s DTV. My DTV was approved a little over a week ago. What should have been a 12 day vacation has turned into 18 days. In Thailand, my daughter will be my dependent until she’s 20 yrs old. She’s currently 18. If we leave Bali before her DTV gets approved, will she still be covered under my DTV as my dependent, every 180 days when we have to do a border run or go to immigrations?
Went to extend the DTV, was told I need to have the 500k in my account for the 30 days prior has anyone else experienced this - booked a land border run through loas and hoping that will be ok - any advice would be appreciated!
Hi, I’m planning to apply for the Soft Power DTV at the Thai Embassy in London. I’d like to start with a Muay Thai course, but I’m wondering - would it be possible to switch to a “Discover Thai Nature” course a few months after arriving in Thailand (before the first border run)? Or would I be required to stick with Muay Thai for the entire duration of the visa (up to 5 years)? Thanks in advance for any help or insight! 🙏🏻
