I assume no departure stamp because he departed via the automatic gates at Suvarnabhumi.

Moving address first. Assuming you are renting then copy of the rental contract, copy of landlords blue book and ID and copy of your passport information page, you last visa or extension and your last entry stamp. You will also need to fill in a TM28 form. You will be left with a slip in your passport with your new address on it.

With regards to the 90 day report. You need to show your passport and last 90 day report slip (they don't normally need copies). Fill in the TM47 form.

Lisa Renée Neely for me it was changing my passport. Last year there was a directive to all banks from the Central Bank of Thailand. It was relating to knowing their customers. The banks reacted in different ways. Bangkok Bank was the best Bank for foreigners and visas. I suspect that they had a much higher percentage of foreign bank account than any other bank. In my opinion they have made a corporate decision to reduce that percentage. Hence the face that they have closed all accounts for those without long term visas.

The other thing mixed up in this is the introduction of facial recognition. This is for all account holders. Some banks require you to go into the bank some you can just take a few photos on your banking app.

So all in all I think 2025 was a big year for banking in Thailand. Who knows what will happen in 2026, I am personally hoping things return to normal.

Andy Spence this is not from Google it's from the horses mouth as this happened to me. I had all my Bangkok Bank, Krung Thai and my Kasikorn accounts frozen.

It wasn't for no reason it was because I hadn't kept them informed of changes. Popped in each of the banks and issues were resolved the same day.

Piero Marcheselli is that all going to help you is you are hit by a car travelling at 30 mph? If you are travelling you should have insurance. Go Fund Me is full of tales of perfectly healthy people who had an accident.

If you are going be spending that much time playing with water my advice would be go to a pharmacy or clinic and take an antibiotic as a precaution. Infections are rife during Songkran. You could be out of action for a week or more with a bad infection.

thanks for the reply. Let me tell you what I would do.

I would contact the hospital that you have chosen for your care. They will put together a treatment plan for you.

With regards to the financial requirements I am assuming that your American partner is proving that for you. Normally that will be in a bank account in your name. The Thai consulate appear to be asking for proof of your relationship. As other have said this could be photos, maybe shared rental contracts, downloads from the messaging app you use to communicate.

I understand this is difficult but to get the right advice the group will need more information from you.

Which of the categories are you applying for the DTV visa under?

Digital Nomads: Freelancers, remote workers, and online entrepreneurs who work over the internet for foreign employers or clients.

Thai Soft Power Activity Participants: Those enrolled in certain Thai cultural activities long-term including Muay Thai classes and cooking courses.

Long-Term Medical Care Patients: Patients undergoing long-term care at Thai medical facilities and hospitals.

Dependents of Existing DTV Holders: Legal dependents including children under 20 and spouses of current DTV holders.
