What type of questions do they ask at the interview to go to America on a tourist visa? I will have a sponsor there. Just finished school here so I don’t have a saving account as I have been a full time student. I’ve done everything but the interview. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Married couple (one is self-employed - do we both need to document 500.000 baht?
Hi everyone,
My husband and I are currently looking into the DTV in more detail, and we have a question regarding the documentation of sufficient financial assets (500,000 baht).
Since my husband is self-employed and I am accompanying him, do we both need to document 500,000 baht each, or is it sufficient if only he can provide this documentation? We have seen different answers on two different websites, so we are unsure what is correct.
Email reply I received form Kota Bhuru & Savannakhet consulates after making enquiries about Dependent visa under 50 dependent wife non Thai spouse on retirement
Only needing answers from recent attempts with negative or positive results where did you apply for dependent visa
Copy & paste answers/quotes I've seen official "Yes it can be done"
Vientiane granted tourist never granted non O that was applied for last week
Please be informed that a Non-Immigrant Visa “O” (Retirement) holder is not eligible to sponsor a dependent visa. Therefore, you are not able to apply for a Non-Immigrant Visa “O” (Dependent) on the basis of your spouse’s retirement visa
Hi- sorry this has definitely already been posted before by someone else. Both me and my partner are looking to apply for DTV, the only issue we’re coming across is the 500,000 finance requirement. We’re able to obtain this but to both hold it in our account for 3 months each is looking like a stretch.
Does a joint bank account work? If it’s held in both our names? I’ve also seen you can get sponsorship but also seen a lot of places prefer not to.
I’m a Filipina currently in Philippine and I recently applied for a Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) through an agent. I already submitted all my personal requirements and my application was accepted for review.
I don’t have an active job at the moment and my stay is fully sponsored by my long-term American partner (retired).
The agent recently requested additional documents such as:
• Proof of relationship
• Sponsor’s bank statements
• Financial support explanation
I’d like to ask if anyone here had a similar situation (sponsored stay / no active employment) and:
I'm facing a situation where my father who were going to be my sponsor doesn't want to provide his detailed bank statement with all his daily expenses, Mentioning it's privacy invasion. He said he provide the balance only.
