Hello, I want to say thanks alot for all the helpful information here.
Today my DTV was approved after about 5 weeks of waiting. I applied in Frankfurt, Germany using a sponsorship letter from my father, as I didnt have the required 500k baht constantly on my account. After 3 weeks it went to pending approval, and now 2 weeks later I got the DTV. They never requested for more documents. Just had to wait and stay calm :)
Hello, im planning to apply for a dtv visa in delhi and am being sponsored by my father for the same
I will attach his 6 month bank statement, 3 ITR, sponsorship letter and other documents for the same with all my documents and a invitation from the gym im going to for the soft power activities.
Is that enough and do i still require a employment contract if im sponsored and have a gym invitation.
Hey everyone! I am wondering if anyone here applied for their spouse's DTV visa? I got my DTV recently, what's the experience like? Can I be the guarantor? Or does she need the 500k on her bank account too?
I searched through some of the posts here, but couldn't find any info, thanks in advance :)
What would be the best embassy to apply to in SE Asia which tends to accept majority of applications? I am receiving a sponsor for the DTV from a relative and wondered whether some embassy’s are more willing to accept this over others? Is Hanoi ok for this or would somewhere else be better? Thanks for your help
My fiancee and I are moving to Thailand in January and I’m hoping someone here can point us in the right direction regarding the DTV visa.
Over the past year my fiancée hasn’t been able to work due to health issues, so I’ve been the only earner. Because of that, we haven’t saved much.
I *can* show over 500,000 THB in income from the last 6 months through invoices, but I don’t currently have that amount liquid because I reinvest a lot back into my online business.
My fiancée has recently started a small freelance gig too, so we’re both digital nomads. Just without the full liquidity right now.
I read on a few websites that a sponsor can be used for the DTV visa. My father is willing to write a sponsorship letter for both of us (so 1M TBH in total), but I’m not sure if that’s actually allowed or accepted in practice, and if this specific case is an option.
Has anyone here used a sponsorship letter for their DTV application?
Does anyone have experience with DTV sponsorship for his/her unmarried partner?
I hold a DTV visa issued in an European country, and I would like to sponsorship my Indonesian partner. I’m wondering if I should do it in the country which issued my visa, country of origin of my partner or maybe other country that might be more helpful - like Manila for example.
Hi everyone. Would love some advice please - on how long the money has to be in the account, for a DTV? I've got enough now, but have only had it in my account for a few days.
I would be wanting to live in Chiang Mai. Currently in Hanoi, but could also apply from my hometown in the UK. Which is the most likely way to get approved?
Also, my unmarried partner (we have a child together), can I sponsor him to get one, too? We only have enough money in account for one person... is it possible to apply myself (with our child as dependent) and then to sponsor him to get one after?
Hello, I've seen a conflict of answer to this.... do dependants of the main DTV visa holder (my children, 9 and 7yrs) need the £11k in a bank account aswell?
They technically are obtaining a dtv visa aswell and that is one of the requirements to have that amount of money but, they are dependant on me?
Has anyone been through the process of getting this visa with children?
