Hi there! I’m applying for the DTV under the digital nomad route, Jakarta and submitted a sponsor letter from my mum along with her bank statements (she’s covering my stay as the business is new). However, I just received a request to upload my personal bank statements too.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Does anyone know if a sponsor letter is not enough for the main applicant, even though it’s an option in the application portal?

Would really appreciate any insights, especially if you’ve applied recently or had a similar case. Thank you!

Question for dtv visa with spouse.

Will I need to show 1mil baht on the statements? The bank accounts are joint.

I have my own business but and wife doesn’t technically have any income.

Should she just submit her own and use the joint statements?

Do I sponsor her?

Any help is appreciated!

Hi I am interested in applying for a muay thai DTV soft power visa. I want to find a gym in Pattaya. I found these two gyms but am not sure about their reputation or if they are legitimate in regards to the visa process and sponsorship letter.

Does anyone have any experience with either:

1. Battle Conquer Gym

2. Fairtex Gym

If not do you recommend a muay thai gym in Pattaya.

I appreciate your help and time.

Thank you.

Has anyone successfully applied for DTV through HCM? In the case I'm unemployed, is it sufficient to just have a letter explaining how I will be able to sustain my life in Thailand?

This question is not for getting a visa into Thailand, but for a Thai person getting a tourist visa to the UK. She is working, 50 yrs old and will have a return flight.

Has anyone had any problems with a Thai friend getting into the UK for a holiday, and meet a friend?

I submitted my DTV application at Thai consulate Dubai with all documents including a bank statement (6 months) and closing balance certificate. I got a request for uploading additional documents which also says "Financial evidence: an amount of no less than 500,000 THB (e.g., bank statements for the last three months, sponsor letter) (The other bank statement to support for 3 months as well.)". I am not sure what do they mean by "other bank statement" since I only have 1 bank account and already uploaded the statement. Can you someone please help or share a similar experience ?

I'm planning to apply for a DTV (soft power) in a few months and also my partner from the Philippines will also apply.

I'm wondering if she needs the equivalent of 500,000 THB in her account or whether I can write her a sponsorship letter. We are not married. I've got more than 1,000,000 THB in my bank so I can cover both our applications. We've known each other for 2 years and have loads of evidence that our relationship is genuine.

I don't really want to transfer the money to her account for three reasons. 1) The cost of the transfer 2) Lower interest rates 3) Our lack of trust in Philippines banks.

We are planning to make both applications in the Philippines.

Has anyone had any experience of applying with a sponsorship letter when the person being sponsored is not married (or not a direct family member) of the person sponsoring?

Thanks in advance

EDITED: P.S. my husband, who as stated below,, already has his Non-b and a registered business in Thailand, and will be my sponsor. My remote work is commission based.

To obtain a DTV visa, there is the 500,000 thb required, some people stipulate that 30 days are accepted while others stipulate 3 months are needed.

The 500,000 thb is not a problem, however, there is also the "letter of sponsorship" option. Has anyone applied with the letter of sponsorship?

My husband has a Non-B with work permit and registered business, and I work remotely for a company in South Africa.

Initially we were going to go the Non-O dependent visa route, but due to the remote work I'd actually prefer the DTV (can't work on Non-O obviously).

I'm currently in Thailand on a 60-day visa exempt and realize I would need to apply from outside of Thailand.

My ultimate would be to find employment over here and also just go the Non-B route, but it's a bit tougher than expected because I unfortunately don't hold a degree.

Thank you, and looking forward to receiving positive and helpful comments.

If I am sponsoring my spouse and had well above the $$ needed in my account, plus showed a high monthly income, why did their dtv come back wanting them to have $ too? Spouse has no independent earnings beyond ssdi and not much in bank.
