I do. When I had one it was a pain in the ass as I’d burn through a lot of transactions and have to bring old bank books to immigration to show I never went below 400k.

Tim Hallmark you do need 800K for year 1. Then after 12 months of deposits you can use that.

You require 800 k baht in a Thai bank or 12 months of 65k deposited into your Thai bank account. Your USA pensions and money in the USA are not considered for your Visa and visa extension. Only the money in your Thai bank accounts are considered.

Get a retirement extension. I have had both. Marriage and Retirement. It’s a lot less paperwork and you are independent from your wife’s blackmail
