What is the application window for a Retirement Visa Extension in Jomtien?
What is the window for applying for a Retirement Visa Extension in Jomtiem? Thirty days before the expiration date? Does it matter if you do it a week before or are the full thirty days required ? Thank you.
Answer summary
You can apply for a Retirement Visa Extension at the Jomtien Immigration office any time during the last 30 days before your current visa expires. While it's technically possible to apply on the last day, it's recommended to do so a week or more before the expiration date. This allows time to address any potential issues with documentation. Applying earlier doesn't affect the validity; the extension will simply add a year to your current expiration date.

you can apply for a year extension based on retirement at the Jomtien Immigration office when you have 30 days or less left on your current stamp <- that means any time during that last 30 days right up to the the very last day 😮 but that is not recommended..
A week before is fine.. gives you time to sort things out if you're a document short on the first try..
remember you don't lose any time going early, they add the year extension to your current expiration date
