Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding my visa extension in Bangkok.

I currently have an “under consideration” stamp, and I was told to return on April 8th to receive the final decision for my 12-month Non-O visa extension.

My questions are:

- Is it possible to go 1–2 days earlier, or do I need to go exactly on the date written (April 8th)?

- Do I need to bring any additional documents, or is my passport enough for the final stamp?

In my experience with Prachinburi is they very often not finished on the date they provide and I have to go back later.

I had one of those once as well and was given a phone # to call as well to check on the status. This was in Khon Kaen.

Whether or not you can get it early or not depends on if they've finished it or not. You might be wasting a trip by going before the date in your passport.

Normally if you need to go earlier, the time to ask is when they're processing the initial application.

You don't need anything to pick up up except your passport. I would bring the blue receipt too if you have it.
