I need to do a 90 check in after obtaining my Retirement Visa extension (Jomtien) to verify that 800,000 baht remain in the bank account. The review date is the 21 of May which is a Saturday. Is there a grace period that you can do this before hand like the case with the 90 day report (7 days previous) or must it be at minimum 90 days? Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is inquiring about the timing for a 90-day check after obtaining a Retirement Visa extension, specifically whether they can perform the check before the set review date of May 21, which is a Saturday. They ask if there is a grace period akin to the 90-day report's 7-day advance allowance, or if they must strictly wait for the 90 days to pass. One comment suggests it is advisable to go earlier rather than later, indicating that checking on May 23 could still be acceptable since the funds would have already been in the account for over three months.

I would think they have a lot of discretion and the immigration officer that gave me back the passport when I went to pick up back up simply overlooked the paper work. Think I will go back on the Friday before.
Jomtien is one of the only immigration offices that require you to return after 3 months and show you still have the 800K baht in the bank (as per the requirements for using banked money method). All the other offices check NEXT year when you get your new extension that you met this requirement
This is what they give you when you get your extension at Jomtien
