First of all, you cannot change your Non-OA to Non-O inside Thailand.

As a rule, you have to apply for the first extension for the same reason as your entry stamp based on your visa. AFTER you spend a 1-year extension, you can change the reason for an extension to another, in your case, from retirement to marriage to a Thai.

The requirements list for extension (and checklist) is province office-specific. You might need to go to the local office again on your own to get an English version.

, check with your airline if you can go in early.

With overstay stamps, you may not be able to apply Elite visa, or tourist visa at some embassy/consulate around SEA in future, visa-wise.

You should check other points on your own, there may or may not be repercussions depending on your nationality. But is not Thai visa related.

, depends on your airline and route, you may or may not be able to do check-in and/or bag-drop before midnight. Usually counters open for 3-4 hours max before the flight.

they will stamp you out mentioning overstay and that fine is waived due to less than 24 hrs.

he needs to make sure he has a "valid" re-entry permit, as john mentioned, it's not standard or practical if there is a difference between validations of the existing extension and re-entry permit.

if those are valid for sure, he can enter Thailand even for one day, no problem.

Unfortunately, the answer is no. Your partner has to be your wife de facto and de jure. You need a marriage certificate and documents from your employer.

All you can do is go back to your local office with the fixed tickets (that can prove you are out of Thailand) to discuss the timeline.

If they can amend the date, follow their directions.

If they say, no, it's too late to change the date, you may have to start the whole process over from the initial visa again.

To all,

If you have any slight possibility of travelling abroad during the under-consideration period, don't forget to mention your travel schedule when (and just before) you submit your application documents. It makes things much easier.

I don't think you can change the email address. Check your profile on the system. If you cannot change, you might need to register new account with a different email address.

You go to the immigration office that issued your extension bringing both passports. Required documents vary by office. You need to check your local office for details. Attached is general information for transferring stamps.

Not sure what is the root cause, but you may try these things as practical measures if you want.

- using different browser(s)

- use email address without any special characters/symbols (for example, plus (+) appendix in gmail address is not supported by all systems) in case you are using one with those
