Hello - success today extending 30-day Tourist stamped in on arrival at Lak Si immigration, third floor.  Fortunately, I had booked an online appointment which I highly recommend doing.  WITH appointment and proper documents, turned in 115pm, completed with passport return 200pm. Be advised the TM30 was checked and analyzed at IT SQUARE immigration 1 extension office.

here's how it works

if you entered the country on a free entry stamp you go to the IT Square Laksi Plaza location for the 30 day extension

if you entered the country on a REAL tourist visa (that you bought from a thai consulate before you arrived) and were stamped in for 60 days when you arrived you go to Chaengwattana for the 30 day extension.

Don’t go to Lak Si with a tourist visa they’ll send you to immigration complex building b. They will extend a 30 day visa exempt stamp for an additional 30 days which is what sounds like happened here.

it was a 30-day stamp, not a tourist visa; therefore, I proceeded to the correct Lak Si office immigration for processing, without issues.
