What should I do if I'm receiving an invalid email verification link when signing up for the Thai eVisa site?

Hi all,

Trying to sign up to the Thai eVisa site and the verification email keeps failing with the error "The email verification link has not valid. If you typed in the address manually, please check to make sure everything is spelled correctly."

It's a clickable link, I've tried about 6 times, using both normal and Incognito modes (private mode) using Firefox as my preferred browser.

Anyone else have this issue and how did you overcome it?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is experiencing issues with email verification on the Thai eVisa site, receiving an invalid link error despite multiple attempts using different modes and a specific browser. Community members suggest using different browsers like Chrome, checking for email address compatibility without special characters, and trying a different email provider like Gmail. They also recommend manual entry of the email and waiting a few hours before retrying.

I have had trouble in the past using my usual truemail email address on Thai government websites like TM30 and 90 day report. I have no idea why but I created a gmail address and used that without any problems so you could try that. I also always use Chrome browser.

I'm using Proton Mail email address, I have issues with Google based services now days! I'll try gmail as a last resort. Can you, once registered update (change) your registered email address?

I found a thread on an online forum where someone had the same problem and it was solved by using a different email address so you could try using a different email address and see what happens. If you don’t have an alternative email of your own for any reason you could “borrow” one from a family member or friend. Also if you are using a VPN try turning it off.

it appears you can

Make sure you enter everything manually and not using auto-fill

Not sure what is the root cause, but you may try these things as practical measures if you want.

- using different browser(s)

- use email address without any special characters/symbols (for example, plus (+) appendix in gmail address is not supported by all systems) in case you are using one with those

I've tried both FF and Chrome in 'normal' mode and private browsing modes, nothing special about my email address.

Once signed up are there provisions to manage your account and change email address?

I don't think you can change the email address. Check your profile on the system. If you cannot change, you might need to register new account with a different email address.

Try again in a few hours or with Chrome or another browser
