Can I extend my NON-O visa date if I will be out of Thailand before it expires?

Hi. I need some advise or idea or something.

Yesterday, I went to renew my NOn O visa. Thr extended visa date stamped in my passport is 28th June.

Is there anyway to extend that date? I won't be in the country(thailand) and its not possible for me to come back before then.

I am in such a pickle. Any idea of how to go around this will be much appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on how to extend their NON-O visa, which expires on June 28, while they will be outside of Thailand during that time. Comments suggest consulting with immigration about the possibility of amending the visa date or providing proof of travel to discuss options. It is emphasized that preemptive communication regarding travel schedules during the visa application process can facilitate the extension.

The O/P messaged me and said they did talk to the immigration officer when they applied for the extension, got the under consideration stamp and were told no, couldn't be done.

They came here as a last resort, and we all said talk to the immigration office ๐Ÿ˜•

We wish the O/P good luck, (y)

All you can do is go back to your local office with the fixed tickets (that can prove you are out of Thailand) to discuss the timeline.

If they can amend the date, follow their directions.

If they say, no, it's too late to change the date, you may have to start the whole process over from the initial visa again.

To all,

If you have any slight possibility of travelling abroad during the under-consideration period, don't forget to mention your travel schedule when (and just before) you submit your application documents. It makes things much easier.
