I finally submitted my application now that I landed in Vietnam but it keeps saying payment failed or canceled. I only have one international debit card with Charles Schwab that I’ve taken and used in over 12 different countries with no issue. I have a travel notice set for both Vietnam and Thailand and I am currently using it for other purchases.
I’ve tried safari, chrome, DuckDuckGo, laptop and mobile and keep getting failed payment. I’m so stressed out does anyone have a solution please? I’m on hold with my bank but their headquarters are in Texas and no one has answered yet. I want to give up.
EDIT: the Thai eVisa payment processing center is a Thai bank however its address is located in HONG KONG. I called my bank and they approved the charge and added Hong Kong to my travel alerts in addition to Vietnam and Thailand.
According to the Schwab representative I called, the eVisa website also used the current address zip code for the billing address - which is so nonsensical bc if I have to be in the country of the embassy I’m applying to why would they use the current address zip code for the billing zip code? Why not ask for that when taking down payment information?
🇹🇭 Hello everyone, I’m currently preparing my DTV application on www.thaievisa.go.th.
I’ve started uploading the required documents on the official Thai eVisa website, and I noticed that for each field, we are asked to upload one specific document.
💬 I was wondering if anyone knows:
Is there a section where we can upload a general explanation letter (justification document) that summarizes and explains our situation, or what we are submitting?
I feel it might help to give more context, especially if some documents don’t perfectly match the standard format.
Been a month since DTV application to Los Angeles Thai Evisa site. Seven business days since request of additional documents were uploaded. Any opinion on sending an email inquiry to the Evisa site? Make the application request better or worse, get the immigration a little pissed off and deny?
I received Evisa yesterday. I noticed there was a Remark wrote the wrong remark, I applied as Business owner but not as student in a college 😑. I received this visa 10:35PM thai time yesterday. Then 11:35PM yesterday I received the mail of Void Visa Application.
Now the status in the Evisa portal is showing Processing Printing Visa Stamp.
Will they provide me with the correct Visa. Or there is something else wrong.
Hi there, a question to those who have used the evisa website: I've noticed that thaievisa.go.th is not a secure site (it is http: not https:). Is this your experience as well? Am I missing something? I have tried Chrome and Firefox browsers. TIA for your comments.
Could anyone here provide me some clarity regarding the Thai evisa? I am working in Khon Kaen and have applied to get the Non-B visa in Vientiane. I have opted to pay at the Vientiene embassy.
The embassy advised that I wait between 10-15 working days for a decision, but someone who got the visa told me that they went to Vientiane shortly after submitting an online application and got the visa within 2 days via an agent.
I am nepalese citizen from Nepal who just recieved thai non immigrant b evisa just yesterday. I am bachelor in hotel management student who is applying for internship in thailand hotel and got accepted too. The problem is my name is nabis thapa but in my thai evisa my last name is misspelled as tnapa.what to do ? I tried to get consult from travel agency from which I have applied for evisa they say there is ntg thier problem if there is some problem the visa should be rejected from embassy's and they cannot do anything further. They say I cannot reapply the visa as its validity last now and thai embassy would not do anything in this matter as they mention. I have my flight on Jan 20 , what to do ?
When apply for Thai Evisa ( tourist, single entry, 60 days), do i need to to provide fully paid flight ticket or just a on hold ticket is enough (which also have my name)?
