Bottom line.... ASK your airline... as you are seeking to enter Thailand as VISA EXEMPT entry. Thai immigration will likely grant you 60 days on arrival as Visa Exempt Entry.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
thanks for your reply ✅ but they told me and my Thai friend that even with the retirement extension, will need to file a new TM30 whenever I reenter Thailand. 😨
I would like to believe that...I am on retired extension and use Jomtien. Fined 2000 when I went to do the 90 day report. Had reentered Thailand and same address on file. Just paid it and not argue about it. I think you are Right... but not worth the hassle to challenge the 90 day report desk.
Anonymous participant nope. The DTV visa is valid for entry into Thailand for 5 years from the DATE it is ISSUED. Each entry gives you a New 180 day stamp during those 5 years.
