Back through DMK from a 3 day trip to Laos on a DTV. Got fast track service, skipped the normal immigration line and went to the sideline with a female IO. Stamped in for 180 days. Didnt ask for TDac nor DTV.

Can anyone tell me if there is a 180 day Visa

Previously i have had a retirement and marriage visa but my wife is currently working in Korea and i don't have 800000baht in my account for the retirement, so it makes it a bit hard.

I do have my Thai pink ID card and the house yellow book but not sure if that makes any difference.

Our house is in Nong Khai Province

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Im sorry if this has been asked but I couldn't find any answers. When you leave thailad after the 180 days, when does the next 180 days start? When you re enter or from the day you leave? I hope this makes sense as I can't really explain it😅

Also, I'll be getting the soft power visa. Do I ever have to buy more than one muay thai package? I have the gym in place I'll be using but not sure if im getting mixed up. I will be purchasing a package for 52 lessons, once they're used and I have left Thailand and re entered, do I ever have to purchase the muay thai soft power package again?

Again sorry if this isn't easily understood, I know what I mean😅

Just wondering if anyone has flown out and returned on the same day to reset their 180 days? Or is it advisable to stay out for a day at least? Or even a few? Cheers.

Hi Guys! Anyone here who done extension of 180 days in Thailand without leaving the country recently? My first 180 days on that visa is about to end. So I wonder what is required to extend it here in Thailand? Do I have to update dates on the employment letter? I heard that they are asking for Thai bank account statement? Is it true? Thank you!

180 day extension chiang mai…

I have the 500k needed, but at least some of it is in a savings account

Does this make a difference? When I first applied, savings accounts weren’t allowed. But it says on the website they’re okay?!

Also… how much in advance should I apply for the extension? I’ve got about two weeks until it runs out. Wondering whether I should go get it sorted now or wait until later…

How’s it been going for those choosing a border run to renew the 180 days? Anything I should know? The time is approaching and with it being such a new Visa I’m not finding much helpful info online. I’ve heard rumors of complications like needing to pay, needing to show paperwork, or needing to stay out of the country for several days before re-entry.

Thanks for the help!

Has anyone on DTV, left and re-entered the Kingdom yet, and if so, was it as simple as our first entry? (Eg. Quick scan of passport and DTV paperwork, stamped and waved on).

I know it’s supposed to be - but you, this is Thailand.

In anticipation, thanks.
